CSALT Ark Encounter + Creation Museum Trip
CSALT will be hosting a trip to the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter in Petersburg, KY! It will be a 6 day trip that will be fun to experience with friends and family. The trip is nearly all-inclusive and will include:
- Motorcoach Transportation
- 5 nights lodging - 3 consecutive nights in the Cincinnati area
- 8 meals - 5 breakfasts and 3 dinners
- Admission to Ark Encounter
- Admission to Creation Museum
- Admission to Cincinnati Museum Center, including OMNIMAX show

Fifth Annual Chili Cookoff
Wednesday, November 5th, is the 5th Annual Gathering Chili Cookoff! If you think you have the best chili sign up, bring a pot, and let’s find out whose is the best! As always, the runners up will receive prizes, but there will be only one to win the coveted Golden Toilet! Feel free to bring a side that pairs well with chili even if you’re not entering the chili contest. Hope you’re ready to have a blast!
There are only 15 slots available for those entering the chili contest.

2025 Camp Caraway Golf Tournament Fundraiser
Join Us for Our 1st Annual Camp Caraway Golf Tournament Fundraiser!
On Thursday, November 14th, we’re excited to host our very first Camp Caraway Golf Tournament Fundraiser at North Shore Country Club in Sneads Ferry, NC. Tee-off begins at 10:00 AM.
This will be a 4-man Superball/Captain’s Choice format, making it a fun and competitive event for players of all skill levels. Mulligan and Red Bomb packages will also be available for purchase to give your team an extra edge!
Every sponsorship, donation, and team registration directly helps shape the faith and future of our youth by making Camp Caraway possible.

FALL CLEAN-UP DAY

BLOOD DRIVE: MISSIONS FUNDRAISER
Gathering Missions is hosting the Blood Connection Community Blood Center bus for a blood drive. The bus will be parked behind The Gathering at the Surf City Fire Department.
Gathering Missions will receive a $10 donation for every donor that gives blood! Also, each donor will receive points that can be redeemed for a $30 eGift card - OR - donors can choose to pass that bonus onto Gathering Missions.
Scheduling your appointment ahead of time is appreciated, but walk-ins are welcome.

Christian Worldview Teaching Session
All of The Gathering is invited and encouraged to attend. Victor Papanu, a Colson Fellow, will teach about what a Christian Worldview is, how to evaluate and understand the truth, and having the courage to live it out in our rapidly changing culture. Gather in the Fellowship Hall from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

VBS & Family Fun Day
Come gather for a full day of fun at The Gathering Surf City!
The day is divided into two parts: VBS for kids 5-10 years old, and then, the whole family - all ages - gets together for Family Fun!
VBS (ages 5-10)
Wonder Junction is a VBS program that explores the wonders of Jesus's life and teachings. The program focuses on key moments in Jesus's life, like his birth, childhood, ministry, death, and resurrection, emphasizing the wonder of each event. Kids will participate in Bible lessons, memory verses, science experiments, crafts, and games while learning about Jesus.
Check-in for ages 5-10 years is at 9:30 a.m. Lunch will be served.
Parents return at 1:30 p.m. to check their kids out
FAMILY FUN DAY (all ages)
At 2:00 p.m., the whole family is invited to NO SLEEVES MAGIC in the Worship Center for an unforgettable and entertaining show.
Following No Sleeves Magic, the whole family gets to enjoy face painting, cotton candy, snow cones, & bounce houses!
All events will wrap up at 4:00 p.m.

Camp Caraway
A fabulous camp experience for kids who have completed 1st grade up through completed 8th grade. Caraway is a weeklong camp filled with missions time, skills classes, recreation, worship, games and amazing time with your Gathering friends!
