Gathering Women Bridge Walk
Ladies, let's take a walk. Come enjoy the beauty of Surf City with a view from the bridge. Meet in Soundside Park at 9:00am. First we will stretch and loosen up those muscles, then we will walk the bridge, as fast or as slow as you wish. Then plan on staying for a light brunch in the park. There will be lots of fellowship and a little exercise. If it's raining, event will be cancelled.

Camp Longridge 2026
Camp Longridge Ignite 2026! We want to help our teens spark new levels of faith in Christ this summer, which is why camp theme 2026 is IGNITE. And of course, we're going to have a blast in the midst of it all! Camp Longridge is a week long summer camp in Ridgeway, SC.

Summer Craft Market
☀️ Summer Craft Market at The Gathering Burgaw ☀️
Let's have a fun-filled day at the Summer Craft Market! This community event is open to the public and features around 20 local vendors offering handmade crafts, unique gifts, home décor, baked goods, and more. Whether you're shopping for something special or simply looking for a great way to spend the day with family and friends, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
In addition to shopping, there will be bounce houses for the kids, games, music, food, and fresh coffee available throughout the event. It's the perfect opportunity to connect with neighbors, support local businesses, and enjoy a day of summer fun.
Best of all, proceeds from this event will help fund upgrades to the church playground. Investing in safe, welcoming, and engaging spaces for children is one of the ways we seek to support and invest in young families within The Gathering and the community.
Come shop, play, eat, and help make a lasting impact on the next generation. We look forward to seeing you there!

Camp Caraway 2026
REGISTER BEFORE MAY 31st!
This is an extraordinary experience for young kids to travel about 4 hours away and spend the week living in cabins, playing with friends, praising Jesus and learning more about who God created them to be.
Camp Caraway is for students who have completed 1st grade through completed 8th grade.

1613 Men's Conference
The 1613 Young Men’s Conference is a FREE one-day gathering designed to challenge and equip young men to stand firm in their faith and lead with biblical conviction in every area of life. Rooted in 1 Corinthians 16:13, this conference will focus on what it means to be watchful, faithful, courageous, and strong in today’s world.
Throughout the day, speakers Adam Kord, Allen Murray, Art Sauer, Ben Horrell, Bobby Owings, and John McGough will share practical, Scripture-centered teaching on marriage, fatherhood, faithfulness, and worship. Whether you are a teenager, young adult, husband, father, or simply seeking to grow spiritually, this event is designed to encourage brotherhood, discipleship, and Christ-centered leadership.
The conference will take place at The Gathering Burgaw, located at 607 S Walker Street in Burgaw, NC. Main sessions run from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with an optional early morning workout and breakfast beginning at 7:00 AM.
Come ready to grow, be challenged, and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with other men pursuing Christ together.

Let’s end summer with a bang!
There will be a FREE community event at The Gathering Burgaw on Saturday, August 1st from 1-5pm. There will be bounce houses, games, face painting, cotton candy, and free hotdogs! Invite your neighbors, friends, family, and coworkers out to one of the biggest events of the year! We’re going to have a great big time and make one last hoorah for the end of summer!

NEW! Men’s AllianCe
The Men’s Alliance is a new men’s Connect Group at The Gathering. This Men’s Alliance Tribe is committed to sharpening men to become husbands, fathers, and leaders.
Gatherings will consist of a 30 minute work-out followed by a 30 minute real-world devotional around a fire. This group will meet each Thursday at the fire pit behind The Gathering office.

Men's Volunteer Weekend Retreat at Camp Caraway. This is a hands-on opportunity to serve, connect, and improve the camp through meaningful outdoor and facility projects.
Camp Caraway provides free, lodging, meals, and a meeting space.

Possible Projects:
Sawing and splitting firewood
Installing handholds on a horizontal climbing wall
Resetting wiffle ball home plate and pitching rubber
Pressure Washing
Additional projects may be added based on volunteer skills available.

VBS Kick Off!
This year's VBS, Emerald Crossing: An Irish Adventure through Psalm 23, will take place in "Flocks" (small groups or your family) all around the area! Please register your family so you have all the materials "ewe" need to shepherd your family throughout June.
We will gather as a whole church flock on May 27th for a Kick Off where you will receive everything you need to complete VBS. We will also go through Day 1 of VBS this night and have a themed family dinner! Your registration for VBS confirms your attendance for Kick Off.
During the whole month of June you and your flock, will gather together and learn all about our Good Shepherd, Psalm 23, and sheep! June 28th we will gather once more to celebrate our Good Shepherd and all He has done!

It’s time once again to get your creative juices flowing.
This decorative door hanger will meet all your patriotic needs. Get ready to celebrate Memorial Day, Fourth of July, or all summer long with this cute Americana-inspired wooden craft. Hang it on your door, your wall, or tuck it into any other red, white, and blue display.

Two opportunities for Easter Sunday worship!
First, let's gather for a time of worship at sunrise (6:30 a.m.) on Easter Sunday!
Meet on the beach at Surf City Beach Access #13. Bring something to sit on.
Then, at 10:00 a.m., Worship in the Park!
Bring something to sit on and gather in Soundside Park at 10:00 a.m.
There will be worship, a message, coffee!, food trucks, and fun for the kids.
If you have a Surf City parking pass, please use the town parking spots. There will be a park ‘n ride shuttle from The Gathering parking lot to the park beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Gathering Women Beach Walk + Bagels
Ready to take a walk? On the beach? With a friend? That is what we are going to do on Saturday, March 21. We will meet in the Fellowship Hall at 9:00am and, once we are all there, head over to the beach for a quick walk or a leisurely stroll. The choice is yours.
