CSALT Ark Encounter + Creation Museum Trip
CSALT will be hosting a trip to the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter in Petersburg, KY! It will be a 6 day trip that will be fun to experience with friends and family. The trip is nearly all-inclusive and will include:
- Motorcoach Transportation
- 5 nights lodging - 3 consecutive nights in the Cincinnati area
- 8 meals - 5 breakfasts and 3 dinners
- Admission to Ark Encounter
- Admission to Creation Museum
- Admission to Cincinnati Museum Center, including OMNIMAX show
- BB Riverboat sightseeing Cruise along the Ohio River

Fifth Annual Chili Cookoff
Wednesday, November 5th is the 5th Annual Gathering Chili Cookoff! If you think you have the best chili sign up, bring a pot, and let’s find out whose is the best! As always the runners up will receive prizes, but there will be only one to win the coveted Golden Toilet! Feel free to bring a side that pairs well with chili even if you’re not entering the chili contest. Hope you’re ready to have a blast!
There are only 15 slots available for those entering the chili contest.
Registration will open up in October.

Camp Caraway
A fabulous camp experience for kids who have completed 1st grade up through completed 8th grade. Caraway is a weeklong camp filled with missions time, skills classes, recreation, worship, games and amazing time with your Gathering friends!

Gathering Missions - Dental Bus + Medical Bus
April 25th + 26th there will be a unique service opportunity right here in the Gathering Parking lot! The NC Baptist Dental and Medical Busses will be coming to serve patients from 8am-5pm each day. If you’d like to serve, there are multiple areas that we will need help with - some require medical licensing and some do not. One of the big needs is staffing - nurses, P.A.s, or Doctors - who can volunteer their time for the medical bus. Additionally, we’ll need folks to greet folks, help in the parking lot, and take vitals. If you would like to serve in any of the capacities, contact Pastor Jordan.

Easter Worship in the Park
Easter is almost here and it will be a fun day at The Gathering as we celebrate Jesus!
Worship at Sunrise
We will kick off the day with Worship at Sunrise. It will be at 6:30am at Surf City Beach Access #13 (behind the Fire Department). Bring something to sit on and be ready for a beautiful sunrise!
Worship in the Park
Following Worship at Sunrise, The Gathering is hosting Worship in the Park at 10:00am. Bring that chair or towel and all of your neighbors and friends to Soundside Park for a celebration of Jesus’ Resurrection! It’s going to be a blast!
Parking
If you are a Surf City resident, or have a parking pass, please use the City parking along Roland Avenue and reserve the free parking inside the park for others. Folks are also able to park at The Gathering! There will be a shuttle available to take you to Soundside Park.
