Wednesday nights at The Gathering are awesome! We get the opportunity to share a meal together, worship in song, have prayer time, and then study together! Whether you’re in a connect group or in main worship, it serves as a great opportunity to catch up with your Gathering Family and get that mid-week pick-me-up and refreshment!

We meet in the Fellowship Hall, but the easiest entrance to use is the Gathering Kids entrance. In the front parking lot, it is the glass doors furthest to the left (Look for the Gathering Kids feather flags and the Wednesday Worship A-frame sign).
Once you’re inside, turn left to enter the hallway, then round the corner on the right and go all the way to the end of the hall. You’ll know you’re in the right spot when you smell dinner and hear a bunch of noise. -
Yes! There are several small groups that meet on Wednesday nights. They are listed below and you can get more information on each by clicking “Contact” underneath the group name.

Yes! There are programs available for kids 0-18 years old! For kids 0-10, make sure to check in at the kiosks at the Gathering Kids entrance (far left glass doors). Voyager Youth (5th-12th grade) will check in at the Youth House. From 6:00-6:30 everyone can eat together in the Fellowship Hall, then at 6:30 everyone disperses.
Toddlers 0-4 years old can be dropped off by a parent in the 3-4 year old room in the Gathering Kids Hallway.
Kids 5-10 years old will be led by a Gathering Kids leader out of the Fellowship Hall to their classrooms or the playground (weather dependent).
Kids 5th-12th grade will check in at the Youth House next door and can carry their food over from the Fellowship Hall. They remain at the Youth House until pick up time. The Youth House is located at 509 N. Topsail Drive (map).
Parents can pick up their children from their class, playground, or from the Youth House at 7:30.

Yes! Different connect groups and ministries volunteer to prepare the Wednesday meals, so there is a variety of meals from week to week. However, every first Wednesday you can expect fried chicken, BBQ potatoes, and green beans provided by Surf City BBQ. You can find the menu for the rest of the month in the newsletter. Check the very bottom of the webpage to find a link to the monthly newsletter.
